This week restrictions further relaxed across a number of sectors which allows us more freedom for gathering together.
Although this is great news, there are still a number of factors that impact our experience of meeting together on a Sunday. The density quotient that changed from 1 person per 2 square meter to 1 person per 4 square meter a month or so ago remains unchanged. This means the maximum number of people allowed in our chapels at both locations is quite underwhelming and would accommodate less than half those who have been regularly attending our services recently. We are also still required to wear masks for the entire time we are in the building.
So, with due consideration to this, and a number of other factors, we made the call to go ONLINE only this weekend.
Our leadership team is constantly looking at the options open to us to move back to live in-person services as soon as possible. We’ll continue to do so with the heart to accommodate as many people as possible and ensure it’s a great experience for all.
This Sunday, if you would like to join with others to watch Church Online, you can do so at 9:30am at both our campuses. There is a limit on numbers so it’s important you register to attend. See onehope.org.au or Linktree for registration details.
Thank you so much for you continued faithfulness and patience as we keep inching ever closer to full in-person services again.
